Prairie Island Adventure Club 2023
Summer 2023 Front Porch Management and The Joy Labs teamed up with the Recreation Alliance of Winona on Prairie Island Adventure Club (PIAC), an experiential adventure-based weekly program made possible by a No Child Left Inside grant from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. Throughout the summer, PIAC offered opportunities to engage with the environment (flowers, trees, insects and animals, the river, rocks and more) while learning and practicing real-life skills (like managing disappointment, problem solving, communication and other healthy coping strategies).
