The City of Winona Park Rec department partnered with The Joy Labs for ARTCAMP!, made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a 2024-2025 grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. ARTCAMP! is an invitation to get creative & get inspired by our beautiful natural area. During the course of the 2024-2025 MSAB grant we had nearly 600 community members join us in community creativity: painting canvases, paper, rocks, parking lots; building birds, rainbows, windchimes, rivers, a community labyrinth; making candleholders, paperchains, mini murals, friends and much, much more.
GOOD NEWS! ARTCAMP! is going to keep on rockin’ through 2025!
ARTCAMP! is FREE & open to all youth and adults. Youth under 10 are asked to be accompanied by an adult. Sessions run from 5-7pm on ARTCAMP! dates and participants are able to join at any time during that timeframe. Art supplies, art instructions & snacks are provided.
